sorry my method didn't work for you...after all this trouble you've gone through, i hope you have a good trip.
but i have to ask, with all these cakes you have to make cake drinks. where are all your shrooms from the cakes....you can recase them and give them more food and stuff and they will give you more shrooms...

You can't find Juicy Juice??? I have Cran-Apple Juicy Juice. I've only done this once, but i'm working on making my 2nd now.

I open the bottle.

Drink half(or more) of it so the cakes will fit.

Crumble the cakes up.

Drop them in.

Shake.

Wait as long as you like.

Poor through a shirt into whatever you want to drink it out of.

This time though, I blended them up in the juice. It looks NASTY this way. The cakes are so mixed up in the juice that it all looks like liquid cake at the bottom. I hope more of the verm doesn't get through the shirt when I strain. I didn't get sick before. Now i'll try it again this way!

By the way, the cranberry juice tek was very satisfying to me. I sat there thinking, "I had no mushrooms tonight, but I had a mushroom trip(and a damn good one at that). I also had no weed, but I smoked weed(resin)."

I made this up christmas night, I never got the chance to consume it though, would it hurt me if I drank it tomorrow afternoon? how long does this stuff keep?

my understanding is that the longer u let it sit, the stronger it will be......I've currently got some brewing up out of a cranberry juice concentrate and it's been sitting for over 24 hrs.....I'm not gonna consume it until New Year's Eve (which will have given it almost 4 days to brew). Hope to get this shit to work out good for me this time!! =)

Good luck Josh! I hope after all this trouble it works.....

The stuff should keep in the refrigerator for a FEW days. Not to long.
The last batch I made, I couldn't drink it all. So, it sat for about 3 weeks. Already strained and everything, just sitting, ready to drink. A few days ago the GF finnaly decided to trip with me, so I said, "Well, lets get rid of this juice....
Opened it up and it was greenish blue.....
It didn't smell bad at all, but it was hard to tell if the Psilocin had oxydized or if it got attacked by contams.
Either way, we didn't drink it.
So, I would reccomend a 2 week fridge life of the stuff, and much shorter if you used warmth at any time in the process.
I use cold juice and keep it cold.....

The only time i've tried this, it sat in there for weeks, and WORKED!

This one i'm doing now will be longer. I've got two cakes in it, and i'm waiting for the third, because I think three was a good dose.

it worked better.....but still wasn't as intense as i expected. I even let it "brew" for almost 4 days!

Possible reasons for it not working for ya.

1) Ok, well we know orange juice works, cranberry juice works, and pineapple juice doesn't work.

So i did some quick investigating.

Well the PH of these drinks coorelates with their tendency to extract the alkaloids from the spent cakes.

I'm assuming its the acidic level that does the extraction (though in reality i have no idea why it works).

Therefore, here is a link to a scale of common beverages PH levels. Beverage PH's

Notice how cranberry juice is the most acidic, while pineapple juice is the least of the 3, and orange juice falls right in the middle. Also notice how ginger ale can be more acidic (can also be more alkaline) then cranberry juice.

Basically what i'm saying, is go find some 100% cranberry juice, NO concentrates, NO Orange Juice, just good ol' 100% cranberry juice. Take ya time and look around for the juice, considering I doubt ya have many more cakes to use if any.

2) Soaking for 48 hours in a fridge is more than enough if cake is blended.

3) Try 4-5 cakes next time.

well so far....i'm unable to find 100% cranberry juice. I"ve looked everywhere in my town. I live in a pretty small town, so I dunno where else to get it? I've even looked online a bit w/no luck......do u know of any online sites I could purchase some at??

100% Cranberry Juice

I "think" that is 100% cran juice even though it uses concentrate. Dunno, i do better in stores than online.
