Apparent Problem with going to first unread post

I have the option to automatically go to the first unread post disabled and am on firefox 2 on XP.  I also have 25 posts per page, I believe, if that makes a difference


When I click on a thread with unread posts by clicking on a page number that doesn't have any, I then click the "go to first unread post" thingy at the top of the thread.

However, when I'm on a page that doesn't have any unread posts, the site just takes me to the first post of the first page containing unread posts, rather than going to that page and the first unread post.



Understand?


It goes to the first page w/ the unread posts rather than the first page w/ unread posts and then scrolling down to the actual unread posts?


Can this be fixed or am I doing it wrong?
