I've noticed that sometimes when I'm posting/browsing through a forum, threads I've visited, and even posted in act like they are unread.  I have included a picture below as an example.  This problem is related to cookies, and I've cleared my cookies everytime this happens to solve the problem.  But this logs me out and I lose whatever unread posts I actually have, so I was wondering if there is a way to prevent this ... ?

Thanks

Another similar problem that I had today ...

I got on, and went to OTD so there were quite a few threads with new replies.  I replied to one thread and when I was returned to the forum/list of threads all of the threads were marked as read, except for two (which were presumeably replied to while I was reading/replying to the other thread).

There are definitely some weird anomalies with the way the new BB version handles sessions. I've noticed it too. I know it's a drag, but I'm also worried it would be a royal pain to track down. I'm kind of hoping Infopop will release version 6.5.1 of the BB soon and that it will fix all these annoying but hard to diagnose bugs people have been noticing.

For the time being I'd just request that everyone continues to post detailed descriptions of problems they encounter. Please only post if you've already cleared your cookies and the problem persists, and try to include as much relevant information as possible such as the OS and browser you're using, your browser security settings and whether you have any web-related third party software installed (i.e. firewalls, banner blockers, etc.) I'll compile all the information into a big bug-report for the author of the software.

I do apologize for this inconvenience, like I said it gets in my way too. Hopefully we'll get it sorted out soon.

Peace,

-Y

Thanks for the reply.

It confirms that it isn't my browser that's causing it.

I remember in past versions of the BB software we had problems with this.

If I remember correctly, deleting your cookies and then clicking "Mark all as read" seems to clear the problem up for a little bit.
