Myc growing up through verm?

I innoculated my first batch of jars(brf/verm/h2o)around 2 weeks ago(GT's)...They are all growing nicely,around 80% colonized....I have noticed on 1 of the jars the myc has grown up through the layer of dry verm and is crawling up the side of the jar towards the lid...There is about 1/4" gap between the top of the verm and the lid.At the rate its growing it will reach up to the lid in the next few days.
As this is my 1st grow i was wondering if this is normal,am worried it might get contaminated up by the lid with the old air in there.Any info will be much appreciated....Peace

It's normal for some of the dry verm to br colonized by the myc...I suppose it's because the dry verm absorbs some of the moisture from the moist substrate, dont worry.
