Chemical contamination???

Hey all A friend told me that he tried using a utility light to make an incubator. THe only problem is it fired while inside the terrarium, releasing nasty fumes that later condensed into brownish droplets everywhere. He had a casing in there, and there is a good chance that the peat and verm may have absorbed some of these drops. Should he continue to grow from this casing or just chuck it?

what kind of light was it? ..and i dont think they make lights that ooze toxic shit.. the brownish shit is probably rust and the condensating moisture. ..i think youll be fine...just get rid of the light.
