Contamination? Looks janky af
    #25082623 -

Ok so I already checked out this amazing post https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/23130868/fpart/all/vc/1

And just wanted confirmation that this is in fact fucked before I toss it and start again. This is my only shot at palenque cubes.i used a pressure cooker to sterilize, the needle, worked in a glove box I sterilized with a 10%bleach solution, and left the jar in there to colonize. It's been a couple weeks. I didn't get the spore print in the midst sterile conditions however.

Anyway I'm worried about the yellow on the mycelium and the black spots. It's hot and humid here so I'm hoping its mycelium piss?

Is this worth seeing where it goes or does it need to be tossed asap TIA.

Yea it doesn't look good, looks like your water content was off. Also once you've incoluated the cakes there is no reason to keep the foil on. If you followed the TEK correctly and used a dry verm layer it will protect your cakes just fine.

I did, that's good to know that I can take the foil off.  How soon after inoculation?  Immediately?

Yea no need to put it back on after you knocked them up.

Yea. The foil is just to prevent moisture from getting in to the jar while you're cooking them. The verm barrier is the barrier protecting your cakes.

OK so I ripped the foil off...  what's the consensus is it fucked or should I play this out and see where it goes?  It doesn't smell bad, and from what I read it should have an obvious smell if it's contaminated?  Could it just be mycelium piss?
