You say, reality would fall apart if something what is there now wouldn't be there [nescessity] ?
I think reality has a large buffer size and negative things don't have an impact immediately, but can 'harm' the whole 'concept' in the long run... like oil-carpets, or deforesting, ...
But in your model there is no positive and negative, as I see it. Everything may be 'good' for something.
But can we see if it is in the long run ?
I see what you mean, but hasn't the human already enough power to influence the fate of this planet (by his/her simple choice), even worse than big 'external' 'non-human made' catastrophes did already ?
