Music choice for tripping

Hey, my friends and I are planning a trip, and are wondering about music choice.

First of all, is music worthing planning for a mushroom trip, or isnt it that fantastic?

Anyway, we were going to listen to Tool, Sleep (Jerusalem), maybe some Isis, King Crimson, Pelican, The Beatles, Hendrix, and maybe DragonForce. 

Any omissions or suggestions?

Pink Floyd. The Wall album is killer for tripping. If your comfortable with it or if it's possible try sensory deprivation. Kill all the lights, close the blinds and just let the music guide your trip in complete darkness.

I'd recommend any Animal Collective, mellower Jefferson Airplane, Talking Heads, Architecture in Helsinki, Queen, The Devil Makes Three, and a bit of Mars Volta thrown in for good luck.

I suppose, it really always depends on what you're taking I guess.

All of those bands will be awesome, less DRAGONFORCE. That shit would get really annoying, really fast. Why do people even consider that music? It's like a joke. I recommend the album LATERALUS for TOOL. King Crimson is AMAZING while tripping. Pink Floyd ...duh. The Beatles will almost guarantee a peaceful, calm relaxing trip. But dude, throw away your Dragonforce Cd's. They are NOT psychedelic. well It might be good for a luagh, but that's it. :lol:

Why the hell doesn't anyone ever trip to Ween? They blow the rest out of the water, IMO.

The Mollusk
Roses are Free
Push the Little Daisies
Can't Put my Finger on it

Also, The Residents are pretty wierd for tripping, they're not very known, here's a little song from them. =)

If you're very prone to bad trips, I reccomend staying away from The Residents, they're a little eerie and twisted, but if you can handle it, it's mindblowing.

Have to disagree.
Shpongle gave me horrible loops, and the tune that triggered it was "My Head Feels Like a Frisbee"

I NEVER listen to shpongle while tripping anymore.

That sucks. But that doesn't mean that nobody should listen to Shpongle when tripping. Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean other people won't.

Hahaha.  For some reason, whenever I get stoned and listen to DragonForce, I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING.  It's like the funniest thing I've ever heard.
