it's a catch 22. Kinda like Hiesenberg's Principle of Uncertainty, where you can never know a particle's velocity and position at the same time.

I would say you already are, the concept of everyone ELSE is the reason you dont feel/see it, you are probly using the mind, the mind has to be thrown away, or seen through, which ever sounds better to your ego. The mind is useless to enlightenment as the mind just divides, this is when i get my flashes of no-mind, if you are saying "i dont want to throw away my mind" who is saying this? It is ego. Ego is the belief "i am the mind"

I am by no means enlightened however i have had moments where the mind stops division, becomes emptiness (becomes isnt the right word as it is already so) and perceives in total unity, no judgement, just pure emptiness, perception & awareness, and amazing joy & bliss springs from this awareness/emptiness. This emptiness when peaceful is felt as unconditional love. in these moments there is no "I" to be enlightened, ego is dead, my mind has ceased becoming its movements, it is aware of its movements, yet not becoming them.

The rest of the time my mind is judging between good & bad, joy & suffering, the gaps of no-mind/no-thought are getting larger day by day...thats why i say throw away your mind, it wil still work, but for you not against you, just stop trying, throw it all away and then there is no separation, when there is no separation this is awakening.

Enlightenment is overrated. Don't worry about it :smile: I think you have a good heart and that is really what matters :heart:

I couldnt agree more.

Take away "I - mind" "ego-mind" and live in "heart-mind".

Always bring it back, over & over until it becomes like breathing, dont try with the mind, that is futile, do it with your heart, if you believe the heart is only an organ within the body then there is nothing that can help as you will live the life of the ego-mind. Start asking your heart all questions, dissolve into the heart, the heart is the only reality we experience.

You are already there, all that needs to be gotten rid of is the perception you are separate, the perception you are only this body/mind, ask yourself what isit that perceives you as separate, what isit that perceives you as this body/mind/ego? Nothing, just a false belief of ego!

Everything is already enlightened, the belief in you can become enlightened is the obstacle, there is no you to become enlightened. Get rid of you and you are enlightened.

Enlightenment imo is all about dissolving you/ego/mind so there is nothing left to perceive separateness.

If you are still clinging to the thought of your mind becoming enlightened that is your biggest obstacle. You have to live with no-mind, or heart-mind, not ego-mind/I-mind.

whenever i have flashes of enlightenment its like "why am i not like this 24/7, its so easy!!!???" you just have to stop your mind, be before the mind.
