I think the first step to enlightenment is to accept that you can't understand the universe. You can only act in accordance with it and reflect ponderously (ponderous meaning "unwieldy or clumsy because of weight and size; oppressively or unpleasantly dull") on the outcome.

As far as I know and can tell the Universe "want's" me to do one very special thing, PROCREATE! And that's all it "cares" about.

Without the PRO.

The universe , although i think the term is ridiculous for it implies only one system ..
Cares very much about you personally.. just as much as it cares for the fly.
Failing to recognize the equality should not be  self-rewarded with pessimistic thoughts.
I dont kill insects. Never will..
I will agree we are much more spiritually ahead.. But that does not make us better..
Using comparisons like you did , can only imply your personal sense of unworthiness , and that attitude shall in turn be rewarded with precisely that , from those that see you as a fly , my friend.
If you can go down to a sub-atomic particle..
Imagine how higher up you can go.
If this "universe" wanted only more of itself.. it would be rather pointless..
If you have been given a message that you should have a child..
Perhaps a soul needs to be incarnated under your roof and under your guidance in order to perform a more helpful and creative task than yourself , cruising these boards saying that we need to breed.

Again .. without the PRO

We need to create. It brings variety.. Novelty..
It give us more to do and see in this endless cycle of basically doing nothing  but evolving and helping others to evolve.
It brings us closer.. to the creative spirit.

I know the universe cares about me..
You can talk to it .. ya know.
It cares about you.. and the fly you smacked on the wall.. and it was probably flying close to you so you would smack it and end its incarnation as an insect
There are no coincidences..
You universe.. god.. call it what you wish..
Is as big as it is small..
It is everywhere.. EVERYTHING.
There is no hierarchy.
And it certainly is not sterile and cold as you propose.

[En]lighten up
:mushroom2:

You don't have a clue what you are talking about. Which imo is more apparent with every post you make.

Now of course the universe doesn't "want" anything. It's just happening.

I think it might behoove you to reread my post.

I wasnt even gonna dignify that with another response.

But i changed my mind. I think many people let your ignorant behavior slide by ..
I just want to point out your downright childish behavior towards me..
And i dont want to hear your reasons..
I know them
Ur attitude is IMO most unwelcome among people trying to share and communicate ideas.. and this being YOUR thread does not give you the right to decide who knows and doesnt know , nor to use such an angry choice of words..

In short..
Your comments , posts , statements.. call them what you may.. are gifted with
Lots of cynicism .. Very poor in detail .. and giving off a sense as if you cruise these topics only to see how much we do not understand.
I understand where this comes from though.. and to avoid being wrongly accused of personalism .. I will just say that you neither give nor gain.
You obviously dont except other theories.. unless you look them up secretly after shitting all over em.. or unless they are perceived as intelligent extensions of your own.
And.. you definitely dont have something for us to learn from unless we already completely agree with you in the first place.

Thank you
Good luck with your enlightenment.

:rofl2:Once again personalisms are not appropriate here. Please PM them to me so I can give them proper consideration.
