Does it make a sound?

Of course..

The original question is flawed..

"If tree falls.. Will anyone hear it?"

Now.. Hearing, constitutes a listener..

It will still make the sound...

If there is a planet with no animals or mammals or reptiles on it to perceive it, does it exist?

Yes it does. Theres just no witness apart from that which witnesses it all.

The quesiton is what isit that rises as "I" to witness the creation, and why does it rise as "I" in the first place?

Keep asking yourself this question over and over like chinese tortue and you shall find the truth...

Taken literally, the original question is obviously flawed. If you believe it to be a silly question though, Id say you haven't really thought about it too much. It implies the basic philosophical question of existence. Thats why the question has been around so long.

I hate this goddamn question, lol. Nobody can say without absolute certainty but it's more than likely that it does.
