The Taste of Electricity

Well its fading each day so I will relate my experience before I can no longer do so.

Earlier this week there was a lightning storm, and as alwayse I was uneasy all that day (before storm) and went through my daily routine in an excited/ restless state. When I came home from work I noticed something. Something was special. As I sniffed the air a menacing grin struck across my face, I could taste it! There was going to be a storm - a big one. About a half hour later I watched eagerly upon the horizon, and the storm was approaching like an impending army with its bright flashes and low rumble. Then it came, howling winds and huge bolts of lightning and thunder rattled windows, and set off car alarms. And then I became filled with an energy, my thoughts raced, my muscles felt stronger, my heart paced faster and faster, small beads of sweat rolled down the back of my neck. The energy radiating from me was so intense it could no longer be contained in any room. I ran outside streaking up and down streets at amazing speed, flying, and I could feel giant clouds of swirling blue, green, and white electricity around me. I can't even explain the razor sharp reflexes, and lightning quick thoughts that were fragments yet long and drawn out all at the same time.
The smell, the taste.

I was complete,
I was ascended.




It seems the more lightning the more profound the effects.
This was a great experience after not having any storms for a while. Well it looks like the energy is already starting to fade.
Is there anyone out there who either has, or knows, about this profound need for electricity?

Damn man that is crazy..mainly because you just described exactly what I did and felt a couple months ago when there was an intense lightning storm. It was the middle of July and I could feel the storm approaching, it made me very restless and I could sense it like an hour before it got there. The sky turned black really quick, and there was an eerie silence in the air..I could feel the energy shooting through me like shockwaves, I couldnt sit still......I ran outside and it started pouring rain and commencing with a huge lightning storm as I literally flew down the streets, if my legs were moving or not I couldnt tell you but I was going too fast to tell. At one point I even jumped into the air and landed about 30 feet away, it was quite an intense experience that I wont soon forget. My mind was racing through a million things all at once, I knew everything and nothing..I could do anything I thought of. Usually this only happens in my dreams but when it turns over into reality you know crazy shit is going on.

With a special concoction I was able to see electricity. Was I just trippin? Perhaps. However, my perception has remained somewhat altered... With some concentration and focus (un-focus) I can catch glimpses of energy still... I wish there was a storm brewing here, but I'm going to have to wait a long, long time...
My sensitivity to energy has been growing for awhile now... (since before the trip.) With more work I might be able to harness this power... What makes me so special you ask? Wishful thinking. :wink:

I intend to do more experimentation and study. I only hope it doesn't lead to the government harnessing the power of the life matrix... :tongue:

This is very interesting. The reason I don't discount it automatically is that my sister informed me today of some monks or something who sat cross legged (I believe) and then somehow jumped great distances. (It sounded more like launched than jumped.) Now, I'm not sure about this, but she told me that it was on some program about George Harrison, and that it took place when he was studying wherever it was that he was studying. She said he did it too...

We have become too focused on matter, it's time for the mind to take control over the matter again.

Regarding the original topic:
I haven't had nearly the effects you describe, but I do feel energized and excited when there's a storm brewing. Also at my previous work we had a lot of electrical trucks. When the were recharging I could feel the electrical field around them. There are definately more than 5 senses.

Your mind is matter. In order to see through matter you have to leave it behind totally and harness it in some other way.

Anyway, every time a storm comes my way I can feel it coming and it energizes me aswell. Often it brings me to the point a mental shift, other times I can predict with 8:10 accuracy where lighting will strike next, once it was almost like I could ask the lightning to stike in a place and it would. I get the same energizing feelings when I spend time around wild animals, and even household pets.

Recently, matt night. I stumbled acrossed the power station for my town.. It was humming, I could feel the electricity humming from it.. I instantly realized everything that was wrong with man kind.. cancer.. cancer.. A great sickness washed over me and I could feel myself sweating, we didn't steal any of teh signs from that place.. it would have taken too long, I felt like I was dying. I hate electricity.

That's evil electricity, you should know that Jared. It's production is harmful to the planet and results in wasted energy which is not free, hence evil. Heh.

I totally agree with the mental shift. it was so strange like weilding an awesome power, menacing...maybe, insanity...almost, but total control.
Shroomism, thank god someone has felt the same way and done the same things (btw - one of my alltime greatest experiences).

but still i wonder why some are so attracted to electricity?

i alwayse feel energized during electrical storms for most/ all of my life but it seem to be getting more intense.

The reason some are attracted to electricity is the same as some are attracted to animals, or fire, or water, or the mountains, etc. It brings about an energizing of our body, I'd leap to say it energizes us enough to integrate our spirit even more, and bring the power of the universe more into our grasp. I beleive this is what buddhist monks do, energize there body to bring it to a higher resonance and more in tune with there spirit, which is in perfect tune with the universe. Different energizers affect different body and mental types, but affect us all the same. As you get used to the resonance increase you begin to seek it out more, and it becomes easier for you to reach higher levels, I beleive eventually resonance from these energizers plateaus, and another method is needed to bring your bodily resonance even higher.

A while ago, before I really felt mind expansion was a need, I was doing electrical work. On the job (coincidentally the last electrical job I've had...), a 480-volt circuit blew about 8 inches from my left foot. on my left about three steps, there was a concrete wall, and on the right about two steps, was a gate, about six feet high, unopenable. I didn't see the circuit blow, as I was watching for welders above, but it seemed as if I sensed it a fraction of a second before it happened.

Needless to say I scaled the fence, almost without touching it, and the explosion actually occured as I was en route to the fence.

That experience forced my brain to recognize another sense, in a sense... I, like many of you in this thread, feel storms brewing, feel lightning striking, etc.

Our bodies depend on electricity as much as they depend on water, blood, the heart, or anything else. Our nervous system is simply a network of complex electrical circuitry. I guess my question is: Why does it take an incident like this to awaken our bodies'(or mind's, whatever you like) sensory knowledge of all forms of energy?

Before this happened, I was never aware of any electrical contact at all, but now, in my home, at the office, I'm shocked every time I turn on a light switch.

As I read the post to which I'm replying, a possible explanation could be higher resonance levels. Maybe in order for the body/mind to recognize the existence of life in its simplest form(energy), it must be hit with an enormous amount of that energy, causing heightened awareness. If that's the case, maybe that's why electrocution happens. Enough electricity run through the body causes the spirit to immediately continue to the next form of being, vacating the body.

Ok, maybe I'm just high, but maybe, just maybe I'm on to something. Something to kick around, anyway.

I'm glad I shared a similar experience to you. In fact I had almost forgotten about it since I had not shared it with anyone since it happened, so I'm glad it happened to you because it helped me remember.
We all have a special connection with the elements. I was at a gathering a few years ago and a shaman told me that I was the wind. This struck a chord deep inside me as I realized this was true. Then I thought that I am aquarius, so that must not be true, since aquarius is water. Then I checked an astrology chart and aquarius' element is air! Quite a surprise. I think though that electricity and magnetism are able to associate with all of the elements, and therefore effect each one in a different way.
If you don't mind me asking...what is your sign?

As far as I can theorize these abilities and senses lie in hibernation within all of us from birth. However we can't use them and don't realize they are there until the energy in our bodies is brought to a higher level, or resonance (vibrational speed). This can, and usually is, brought upon by semi-traumatic/traumatic experiences involving an resonance increasing energy source. Before the socket blew, no doubt electricity was building and compounding in the area, shocking your system into using your hibernating sences which allowed you to sence this explosion before it happend. It probably had enough of an affect on your energy systems, that it permanently increased your frequencies and allowed for you to use these senses more readily. I for instance have been indirectly "struck" by lightning quite a few times since I was a child, meaning the lighting hit something I was standing near, and I received a good portion of the shock, not enough to cause any major damage though.

I also think that this awareness can be forcefully brought about through meditation and strict practice. Although this method will give you more power over the senses, it also takes much longer to acheive.

I think electrocution (major) causes a spontaneous polarity switch which can eject the bodies energy systems (spirit/soul). Sometimes it returns, but often it neglects to return to the body and moves on. Minor electrocution may serve as an awakening to the sences however. I think the utlimate goal is to bring the entire body, not just its energies, up to a higher resonance. Succesfully converting matter to energy, and increasing the overall awareness of your soul.
