I did watch the video, you fucking retard. :blowme:

Next time you can sit next to me and watch me do it before you say stupid shit.

That video was taken off the History channel, and guess what? I've fucking seen the entire show.

That video wasn't even that good. Popes and shit. Who cares about Popes? They are supossedly infallable.

I'd believ a Pope to be closer to infallable than that guy after watching that video...

Quick Reply, Motherfucker.

LEARN IT.

I believe he is talking about the metal fragments found in lava flows. They always magnetically point north. Scientists have found lava flows with the metal fragments pointing east to west instead of north to south suggesting the north and south pole were once lying on the equator.

Yes, it's absolutely true that the Earth's poles have shifted numerous times throughout history.

Absolutely w/out a doubt true.

But the mechanism behind this is unknown, and his statement that "Science has proven...." that the poles would shift is nonsense. And that's not even considering the fact that he claims to know the exact year, month, and even DAY that this will happen.

Hey, sorry Madtown, I belive you were pissed because my post was in response to yours, right?

Sorry, I typically just use the pull down menu, but I was pretty pissed off.

wouldn't our government just tell us and let us be animals since most of us are going to die anyways?

could the pyramids be a giant shelter for all of this?

If the world was going to end in 2012, you can expect the government to be the last one to tell you about it. Their job is to keep control and the end of the world would cause mass panic and make our country collapse.

I just did a quick search of Nibiru on google and youtube. There is plenty of information out there.

For one I recommed http://zeitgeistmovie.com/. It's not the doomsday scenerio in the sense that we are talking now, but it all ties together. In all honesty, governments to be shaken, and the people need to be awakened to what is reality and not their little dream worlds. The government is a mere pawn and they would lie and hide every bit of knowledge from you to protect their finacial interests and power. Knowledge is power, and have lots of power they must deprive people of their knowledge. They will hide no matter is going to happen(and force events to arise) to ensure they continue to have the "people's" support. For this, you cannot believe a word they say.

I can garuantee one thing though...I will be as far from a major city as possible. I would much rather take my chances with ANY cituation in nature than a city. The smart and like-minded will band together. The strongest and most intelligent will survive ultimately improving the collective conciousness' of man.

I really try not to dwell on the future(or past) much, as that takes away from living in the present.

I think there are some people who are trying way too hard to find out answers they are not meant to know.

Like this "recreating the big bang" fiasco.

It's like some kid's curious dream was realized because he grew up and had the money to do it... and now he's going to fuck a bunch of shit up by messing with physics. That's what it's like from my perspective.

I'd much rather stick to letting nature take its course, and just accepting it and admiring it for what it is while I live it up here for this short lifetime.

So you have no interest in finding out how everything, literally everything, was created?

That idea is completely foreign to me.

I don't possess the audacity to assume I could possibly understand the universe.

I do however love the pursuit of knowledge and understanding. But I don't waste my time on things that I can't know for sure. I'll fantasize about what might have been but I will never try to argue in any way about it. I realize that it's all speculation. Even so-called scientific fact is fallible - the universe is too amazing for it not to be.

You are limiting yourself to almost nothing!

I don't think so. I'm limiting myself to my perceptions, which is really all that truly matters to an individual at the end of the day. There's no real way to even know if anyone else exists in this reality... or even if yourself exists. You can't get in their minds. I think this idea is called solipsism. An interesting idea, indeed. But just another speculation, a theory, for my mind to ponder. Pondering is my favorite pastime. Things go wrong when someone makes these ideas into beliefs, and try to argue one way or another.

My perception of this life makes me feel that aiming for a path of compassion and simple understanding and living, will bring me more happiness than driving myself mad with questions of infinity.

But man that's just me.
