That is where we enter the Singularity. A human mind cannot predict future events in a world guided by superhuman intelligence and all-knowingness. A fly has a better understanding of us humans, than we would have of an all-knowing being.

I wouldn't be surprised if fax machines of institutions all over the world would start printing Perfect Solutions to problems they face, as part of a Master Plan we simply cannot grasp. Perfectly ordinary people could be given instructions to do simple, ordinary things because of the consequences they would have a hundred thousand years from now.

the 12th planet will finally make its way back around on its highly eliptical orbit, causing serious magnetic field disturbances throughout the solar system, including on earth, it will cause our poles to reverse causing a resetting of north and south in new positions(already happened numerous times in earths history), causing massive upheavals on earth including massive earthquakes, incredible volcanic activity, massive wind storms and gigantic tidal waves. very few places on the planet will go unchanged, many will be devastated. many will die, some will live, life will go on and hopefully humanity will change its ways.

i also dont think the 21st is an exact date. id say give or take two weeks.

Another astronomical disaster scenario would be if a neutron star, hurled through space by a black hole, did a flyby through our solar system at a quarter of light speed.

That would suck!

Anyone wanna read up on Neutron stars ? They're among the most kickass objects in the universe.

I think the Artificial Intelligence would actually be an evil ruler, using us as batteries for fear, and it would reduce everything to a system of predetermined and unchangable rules. This is the intelligence that DARPA is working on.

This is what the singularity could be. Or it could be the real God, the human God who is infinite potential and who wants us to transcend our mind and bodies, coming into realization.

It is a branch in the road. The magnetic poles is a metaphor for the people of earth becoming polarized. One branch will go into the technological singularity and one will go into a spiritual singularity. The spiritual singularity is the one that is True.

We cannot rely on technology. We can't know if it has benevolent intentions. Look at all the technology coming out recently - microwave guns, nano-sized microchips, etc... even the positive technologies - Ipods, Robot doctors - they are a way of continuing a patriarchal hierarchy where humans cannot be one unified body.
