That's what I was thinking too. I would never have admitted to almost shooting my stepfather if it wasn't anonymous. If I did people would just think I was bullshitting anyway.

I do have to say they'd be very surprised which person posted that.

the more people I talk to about this kind of abuse, the more I find it really common, I know at least 1/3rd of my friends who have been sexually abused. I feel the worst about the following case:

In 7th grade a friend of mine told me about her older brothers best friend. He had just moved back to the area and she was terrified of seeing him again. Their families are really close. He had raped her since she was in elementary school and she never told anyone. She was 7 when it started and he was a good 10 years older than her. At the time I was more concerned with keeping our "pinkie promise" than reporting it to adults.

I still regret that to this day.

Older brother shoved something terrible in my mouth a couple times when I was 4. fucking prick. Didn't say a word to anyone until I was 16.

Unfortunatly I've still never really dealt with it, and it comes up here and there in alcohol fueled rages around people I wish it didn't. Then never gets talked over and leaves tension in the air around my not so understanding "friends".

It was kind of a willingly rape I guess, wasnt to much of a rape because I wasnt forced. But it kinda was. And it happened more than once. It was all unprotected, and this has me scared to do std tests.

If you got an STD from her it would have come up by now.

Ok sure there are those 'hot baby sitter' episodes - if that floats your boat, more power to you...but that's not speaking of ALL those more PAINFUL experiences that kids experience and stay with them....sick sick sick

I was molested when I was a little kid, and I gotta say that shit does not ruin you. It might make things harder, but life can still be just as good. Its a life experience taught at a very young age, but the world can sometimes be cruel and that experience can change how you would have otherwise viewed the world. Fuck it though, everyone has pain, some have more than others.
