My GPA this semester was, *Drumroll*

F,F,D,C

I knew I would fail my math class cause I stopped going cause the teacher fucking sucked, but the others I wish I would have at least got a C. The other F and the D were both electives but still...I'm fucking pissed at myself. Could I retake the math class and have the new grade replace this one(I'm in community college BTW)? FUCKING BLOOODY FUCKING HELL!!! I know part of the reason why my grades suffered was spending too much time on this damn site! What should I do to get myself motivated to be successful next semester?

Did you get bad grades last semester? I'm really motivated now to get shit done and get a degree and move on w/ my life.

Truth be told, I do horrible in school. I did so bad in high school they placed me in special ed senior year so I could pass. My first time going to community college I dropped out before I failed. I'm just very apathetic about schoolwork. Even this past semester where I got those grades, I didn't study one night. I did bring myself to do the assignments though.

School just bores the shit out of me, that's why I do bad. What got me motivated about putting a decent effort in was living on my own for the year after I graduated from high-school. I realized that making $9.00 an hour is a miserable life. I had to work my ass off just so I could afford rent and food. Buying new clothes was a big deal for me and I realized the importance of a higher education. Plus, the people you will work with at a job only requiring a high school education are depressing.

School may be tedious, but living in a shit hole for the rest of your life is much more so. Just tough out the 4 years.

For a while I thought about dropping out and working a shit job 40 hours a week. Then I smoked Salvia and realized how fucking stupid that would actually be in the grand scheme of things. I gotta get this shit done and move on w/ me life!

When I was high school, the idea of being poor didn't bother me in the slightest, as long as I could write and play music, I would be happy. Then reality kicked me in the ass, being poor was horrible! I sprained my ankle one week and had to hobble like a cripple 2 miles to the bus stop so I could make it to work. If I got just ONE medical bill while I was on my own I would have been royally fucked. There's just no peace to be had when your poor and your quality of life is shit. Make a lot of money, live comfortably, and marry some hot ass broad who will make your food :thumbup:

Well yeah anything in science will require a lot of Math.

I'm a chem major and I did not do well in my first math class (calc I) and thought I sucked. But I talked around and MATH MAJORS told me he sucked (he's from N. Korea and his accent is extremely thick.).

Make sure it was you and not the prof before u decide to make the change.

My freshman year, my roommate and his three friends, adding their GPAs together were still in the square root club. (Square root club is when the GPA goes up, rather than down, when you take its square root.) He had all 16 hours of F and 1/2 hour of D. (intro to engineering was two semesters, 1/2 hr credit per)
