Opiate is sick too. I love the 'hidden' ending to it as well. The Gaping Lotus Experience Lyrics

I had a friend once he took some acid
Now he thinks he's a fire engine
It's okay until he pisses on your lighter
Kinda smells kinda cool kinda funny anyway

satan, satan, satan...

I had a friend once he took some ecstasy
Tried to marry me and every one in the room
He was sort of loving kinda caring,
kinda tried to fuck my lazy boy
It got a bit messy all over the curtains,
arm chair covers, throw pillows, and carpeting

satan, satan, satan...

I'm getting bored again...

I'm partial to pretty much every song on Undertow and Opiate. Nobody has mentioned Salival either. You Lied and the No quarter cover are awesome. Those songs are too big to attach but here is Undertow.

Those are really tasty cookies if you're in to eating a ton of butter.

rosetta stoned is about an acid trip, not DMT. note the lyrics: "blotter got right on top of me" about halfway through.

Third Eye, on the other hand, IS about DMT.

Easy mistake to make.

TOOL kicks ass!

Heh... you could argue any which way I suppose. However, third eye seems to reference peyote (phosphorus desert buttons).

I'm pretty sure all the butter is to get the hash into a form that you can digest. I know when I make THC pills or brownies I ground my bud into a kief in a coffee grinder than add a little butter to the powder and a little extra light olive oil and work it in with a spoon. Makes the brownies/pills kick so much harder.

OH yeah
....AND NO EGGS!!!!

Actually, according to the official lyrics, the beginning of the song is

"Alrighty, then ... picture this if you will.

10 to 2 AM, X, Yogi DMT, and a box of Krispy Kremes"

The "blotter got right on top of me" is correct, also.

:blazed:

I think they are just pure butter cookies. Plus, the recipe asks for only a knife tip of hash.

I don't like tool, i have never been able to get into them. I have Aenima, Lateralus, 10,000 days, and Opiate on my computer but have never been able to listen to any of them all the way through. I just don't get it, change my mind.....

"We're gonna need your help though.
We're gonna need your help
and your permission,
so we need you to find
a comfortable space,
that is not only comfortable,
but vulnerable.
I want you to shut your eyes and go there,
and we'll meet you on the other side.."

Listening to TOOL has the ability to keep you in the most desired positive state.  Think for yourself, Question authority.

it's some kind of psychedelic experience.

Our body is light, we are immortal.
Our body is love, we are eternal.
Eternal..

Omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, without judgment.

Why delete the songs?

Artists intend their listeners to hear their album as a whole.....it's a piece of work....art.....it has a deeper meaning as ONE.

Especially tool......if you are deleting the songs.....and listening to the "hits"......you can proudly wear that tool shirt.....because you are just that....a tool......

Tool blew up and got so huge, and they aren't really that special......they know they aren't that special....that's why they named themselves tool....so all their fans will proudly say what they are.....

Lateralus as a whole is goddamn amazing....( especially if you rearrange the tracks, look the track listing up online, if you rearrange them and cut the first and last 2 seconds off it flows as one 74 minute song ).
