Kundalini tingling

I've started Kundalini yoga and have been experiencing much tingling in my hands and feet as well as other areas of my body. I read online that this is considered normal. Anyone else here do Kundalini yoga and experience a tingling numbness in their extremities?
I'm really enjoying the way kundalini is helping me to feel. The tingling I'm still getting used to...

I feel it in my hands and feet after hatha yoga sometimes. I don't know anything about kundalini yoga, but my guess is it's normal. It feels pretty cool to me!

My body I will give to pleasures, to diversions that I’ve dreamed of, to the most daring erotic desires, to the lustful impulses of my blood, without any fear at all, for whenever I will— and I will have the will, strengthened as I’ll be with contemplation and study— at the crucial moments I’ll recover my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

I've never practiced Laya Yoga, but whenever I do Pranayama I get that buzzing in my hands, feet and top of my head big time.
Make sure you have a qualified teacher.

Oh, yes. Oxygenation is mighty 'spiritual'.

For me, bodily sensations = emotion. Controlling and understanding emotion = wisdom and growth. Tingling extremities aren't exactly a core function of meditation, but interesting things happen. More going on than oxygen levels... not hard to find out what.

it's not oxygenation - it's from absorption or concentration.
the word yoga means to yoke - as in yoking an ox to a cart or plough.
we yoke our mind to a simple task or to one place in the body (and follow the breath).
when this place of concentration fills the short term memory (stream of consciousness) by doing it for about 4 or 5 minutes, side effects of being absorbed or yoked to the single minded point of concentration will include tingling, buzzing &/or color effects.
it is the natural wave form interference in the brain between moments of mentation that are simmilar or very very close but not exactly the same: like the beats you will hear while tuning the strings of a guitar IYKWIM

Interesting guys, thanks for the replies. I enjoy Kundalini so much! Good to know that the tingling isn't something to fear.
