Kundalini
    #9207946 - 11/08/08 06:12 PM (13 years, 24 days ago)

The skull and spine when viewed as attached to one another and when viewed as separate from the body look like a snake.

The skull and spine together form the aparatus upon which the nervous system is based and hence are representative of the nervous system.

Kundalini is represented as being a snake because to awaken the kundalini is to awaken the nervous system and the base of the nervous system is the skull and the spine and together they look like a snake.

To awaken kundalini one must avoid recreational orgasming. One should only have orgasms if they are procreational orgasms... that is to say one must only have an orgasm if the orgasm is used for the making of children.

By avoiding the orgasm the nervous system is nourished and hence through the avoidance of the orgasm one awakens the kundalini which is the awakening of the nervous system.

One should practice meditation in conjunction with the avoidance of recreational orgasming... to avoid recreational orgasming is called brahmacharya.

People sometimes think about snakes while on psychedelic drugs because psychedelics artificially awaken the nervous system. Because psychedelics artificially awaken the nervous system one experiences delusions as well as insights while on psychedelics.

One should awaken the nervous system naturally through brahmacharya in conjuction with meditation rather than do it artificially through psychedelics. Doing it artificially can create imbalances in ones prana which can only be remedied through avoiding doing any mind-altering drugs of any sort.

The kundalini knows when you are sleeping,

It knows when you're awake,

It knows when you've been good or bad,

So be good for goodness sake!

The Kundalini is a fundamentalist religious fanatic...

The goal of meditation is to awaken ones brain. The awakening of the brain is called the awakening of kundalini energy. The kundalini energy is the nervous system. Kundalini energy is symbolized as being a snake.

This has nothing to do with triggering the kundalini, this is simply the proper use of the orgasm. Having children is honorable.

I guess I am the only one that makes any sense of this.

Take acsetic practice for what it is, as the op mentioned; in consideration of the nervous system, not as an absolute or middle path.

Fear and sex,
Death and procreation. In secular terms this is what drives us, i think we all can agree. Its trying to be real with this fundamental energy, at the cost of certain liberties. To the extent that we are hung up on sex and death, I have found ascetic practice to be useful, much in the same way as I would consider hallucinogens. Not the truth, but useful...

If your repressed or feel you must literaly compromise with reality, there is a "reasonable" perspective of grounding this in terms of utility (your tool).  I'll be the first one to admit this can get pretty dr strange love though.

Also this is just my own practice undoubtably, there are better methods.

But yea, to me what line says makes sense, and I've gotten results from this.

I see why you used the word ascetic however I want to point out that what I am talking about does not involve fasting and I want to point that out in case someone were to misinterpret what you meant when you used the term ascetic.

Whats the point of having an orgasm, it only takes like a few seconds... never heard of tantra? It is perfectly possible to gain full control over your PVC muscles, meaning, you can fuck as long as you want and you orgasm when you want to. Your girlfriend will be really greatful if you acquire this skill.

So wy not just try it out and see for yourself? By reasoning about it and calling it bullshit you will never find out... you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Anyway, nice topic, nicely put, nothing to add.
