Tingling Sensations!
    #1232389 - 01/19/03 10:56 PM (13 years, 10 months ago)

Do you guys ever get this intense tingling sensation rising up within you when feeling a profound sort of moment. It can happen when reading and making a meaningful connection or listening to music. Anyways, just today I have gotten 2 that were very intense and went right up my spine. One of them actually lasted about 7 seconds, most of the time they don't last long. I think this means I am awakaning my kundalini (I like saying that).

That happens to me sometimes when I am listening to the radio & a song comes on that I LOVE or that the words in the song mean something to me.    :smirk:

They will also accompany moments of breakthrough physical, emotional, or spiritual. I think of them as little cosmic charges.

I can make these things happen by will.

A friend and I call it the "seratonin waterfall," that tingley feeling that feels strongest right in the brain. lol it feels like my brain is physically shifting around in my head, although I'm certain thats not the case.

This happens when extreme "goodness" is experienced... when I yawn, urinate, orgasm, make some deep and/or profound connections between thoughts that didn't used to be there...... It seems to be some type of self-reward system, although I have learned to make it happen on queue. Its not as strong as it can be when its "automatic," but it sure is cool

As far as triggering this effect, all I can say is that i think it has something to do with breathing.. Feel free to ask about it, but its very hard to explain

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

I only ever started to get these after I took MDMA for the first time.  I personally referred to them as "E-flashbacks".  I think they're just little (or pretty damned big sometimes) flushes of serotonin into your brain.  I usually get on average one a day recently.  Usually listening to music in my car.  It happened today and my face was almost eaten by my huge smile!
