You are probably not using PF strain.
Depending on your strain it could take you
up to (sometimes more) 2 weeks for pinning.

The fluff is generally a good sign, meaning your mycelium is alive and KICKING.

Try casing 2 cakes with shroom-wizs tek + terrarium (my personal fave), but keep it a tad less humid than you would cakes.

See if it works for you.

One word of advise:
DONT FUCK WITH YOUR COLONIZED SUBSTRATE MORE THAN VERY VERY LITTLE. I am talking about the impatience everyone goes through with their first go. As long as humidity/temp/ and relative cleanliness are kept constant become a user of the NEGLECT TEK. This has led to my best successes.

neglect tek is key. i was waiting for my cakes to pin for like a week. i went to florida for a week and came back and my cakes had ,like 20 pins each.

they neglect tek key is making sure your setup is consistant enough that you can neglect it.
