storing cakes/casings between flushes
    #583196 - 03/19/02 10:06 AM (22 years, 6 months ago)

is it at all possible to store a colonized cake / casing in the fridge for three days between flushes? or is there any other way to store them while im outta town for the weekend? the cakes and casing are only on their first flush and they are gonna be finished right around when i have to leave. it seems to be a waste of time and money to throw them away after one flush, lemmie kno what can be done about this situation. thanks.

if you case them you can leave them for a couple of days and when you get back they will be ready for you to intiate pinning.
just a thought!

im going to be gone right after the first flush, and i have no one that can take care of my fanning for the start of my second. so i would like to kno if i can store the cakes / casing without any dammage to them. they would be in the fridge for three days (if it wont hurt them).
