Cleaning a cake post flush

after flush and ready to harvest,
1 shouldremove all mature fruit bodys , and all aborts right?. what about baby pins just forming?
are you supposed to shave the outward growth from the cake or is it ok to let continue to grow?
what about myc knots ?leave or remove?

Yes.

Well, you shouldn?t wait so long that the bew pins begin to form. If they are trully new growing pins, then leave them on the cake.

What about the outward growth and myceluel knots?

you know, that's an interesting point. What happens if you just let mushrooms grow in total darkness? Do they just grow in whatever direction they came out of the cake/casing from? ehhe, they'd probably be straighter than my first few mushies..lol.
