cleaning cakes (hippie's neglect tek)

after you harvest each flush should you clean the cake (like peeling an apple) as described by pf or not. Also has anyone else tried it with Gulf Coasts? Did it work well?

You should pick all aborts off with clean hands. Peeling is not required.
