Help!!! I've followed the PF TEK and grown 12 white healthy looking jars of PF cakes but they won't pin. It's been a couple of months and they're still in the jars but no sign of pinning. It's been a bit cool but nothing below 65. What can I do to make these cakes fruit? Thanks!

silly, ur cakes are probably useless now after the cakes are completely covered in mycelium, you take them out of the cans and put them in a terrerium with plenty of light to initiate pinning. i all of the nutrient content in the brf has been consumed by the mycelium by now, but you might as well try em in the terrarium.

A couple of months huh? Do they have any moisture left? 65 is kinda cool should be in the mid 70's. Where are the jars stored?

The cakes do not have any blueish tint to them. Also, I thought, according to the PF TEK, that you're supposed to leave the cakes in the jars until they start to pin. Help!

If your cakes didn't turn blue, you can probably save them. Try casing some of those cakes., it will give the mycelium the moisture they need.
