It's not uncommon for high humidity to cause fuzzy growth on the maturing shroom. However it shouldn't lead to rotting shrooms. There may be two things going on here at one time. Bacteria blotch can rot your shooms as well as other contaminants. I have seen this before when there was water build up in the base of the tray...the blotch then attacks the substrate and works its way to the shrooms. Once your finished with this tray...break open the substrate and look...then you will know for sure if this was the problem. If it was then thicken your vermiculite base and adjust your spraying/humidifier to not cause so much condensation on your tray. Good Luck.------------------
