thin elongated shrooms?

What causes thin elongated shrooms. The stems are so long and thin that the shrooms fall over on the cakes. also the caps are alot smaller than what was expected. They are equadors grown in brf/verm cakes. the thai pink buffalos seem to be much better. so maybe it is just the strain. is this normal for equadors or is it something to do with the conditions they were grown in.

it is in fact the conditions. long skinny stems are caused by high co2 (not enough fanning) and high relative humidity. control these things and your fruits will improve.

I had the same problem with my first casing.
very thin shrooms, and long.
Didnt weigh much at all.
I definitely wasnt fanning enough.

Damn dude, how much SHOULD they be fanned they have been fanned at least 4 times a day although they did go a couple days withiout being fanned when they were pinning. Hmmm. I wonder if that could be what caused this. Since they have been fanned regularly the pink buffaloes have pinned and started fruiting and they aren't naving the same problem. can not fanning at pinning cause the shroom to grow long and thin throughout <(spelling) the whole growing cycle?
