Patrick Geryl: Prophet?
    #7069855 -

A review from amazon on one of his 3 scary-if-its-real-and-its-been-mathematically-proven-so-yeeaahh.

World Cataclysm in 2012 is the second in the series of three books by
Patrick Geryl about his discoveries using cartography, astronomy, and
mathematics to decipher the codes left by the ancient Egyptians and
Mayans. His findings: the Altanteans, Egyptians, and Mayans were all
trying to warn us of a coming world cataclysm of devastating proportions,
a crustal pole shift that would destroy civilization.

This book documents Patrick Geryl's research in which he shows:
1)An interpretation of the Isis-Osiris legend to be the story of the
previous pole shift in 9792 B.C.,
2)Why the pyramids of Gizeh were placed, and the relationship between the
pyramids, Orion's belt, and the next pole shift, and why the Sphinx was
built,
3)How the Atlantean, Egyptian, and Mayan civilizations were linked and
why they were all saying the same thing,
4)The incredibly precise number system of the Egyptians and Mayans and
the number codes contained in ancient writings and hieroglyphs that can
only just now be deciphered and what they tell,
5)The real meaning of 666, the number of Apocalypse, and where it came
from,
6)The Sun and the relationship between sunspot activity and magnetism,
and how the ancients developed number systems that precisely calculated
the cycles of pole shift,
7)Why there are no records of previous civilizations that existed before
the last pole shift,
8)Why polarities in magma show sudden changes in the location of the
magnetic North Pole,
9)Why the Zodiacal procession was disrupted and did not follow in
sequence in ancient times.

Patrick includes his breaking of the numerical codes and extensive
calculations to show how the Egyptians and Mayans used incredibly precise
number systems that we are just now reaching the point of being able to
decipher, and why these numbers that were written in stone in the sacred
temples were left behind: to warn future generations of the time of the coming pole shift.

If the author is correct, then this series of books
contains one of the most important messages for the planet and for
humanity's future. If you are interested in what happened to Atlantis,
the mystery of the pyramids, pre-history, Meso-America, survivalism,
Earth changes, prediction and prophesy, and what will happen in 2012,
this book fills in many of the missing pieces of the big puzzle.

Extremely interesting thing i just came across. concludes how the aztecs mayans and egyptians all were doing the same thing by building these huge structures. There would be a very valid reason to build them if warning the future generation of cataclysmic destruction was at hand.

"According to Mayan & Egyptian prophecy, the earth awaits a super catastrophe in 2012: its magnetic fields will completely reverse in one agonizing shift. Devastating earthquakes and tidal waves will completely destroy civilization as Europe and North America are pulled north to polar latitudes. Almost all the earth's population will perish. These predictions stem from the sophisticated astronomy of the Maya and Egyptians, descendants of the legendary original Atlanteans, whose island, in this theory, is now buried under the South Pole. The Atlanteans predicted the world-wide flood in 9792 BC. In 2012, according to several 10,000 year-old star codes, Venus, Orion and several other stars will take the same 'code-positions' as in 9792 BC. There is also a forgotten and massive labyrinth, created by the Old Egyptians, of secret chambers filled with artifacts and documents about the previous flood. "

In defense of Patrick Geryl, some of the other reviewers of his book, The Orion Prophecy, are critical not only of his book but of his personal character too. They accuse him of trying to profit and to gain notoriety from his thesis, or of being megalomaniacal or self-centered. I don't believe this to be the case at all. Some of this reaction could be in response to the shocking conclusion that Patrick has come to: his research has uncovered many ancient hidden messages that forebode the complete destruction of the world in 2012 due to crustal pole shift. When a person takes a stand to defend a controversial topic, he or she is liable to draw extreme criticism. The messenger can be confused with the message. The curious thing is that if his thesis turns out to be true, he will be associated as a harbinger of death rather than a compassionate person who tried to warn others to prepare. Pioneers must take a lot of flack from the very people they are trying to liberate. Because of our investments in our homes, families, and statuses, if his thesis turned out to be true it would result in a lot of pain, changes, and tumult. Because it is by no means an easy path, one can see that it would not be one to choose if it were simply for fame or fortune.

My take on Patrick is that he is a sincere researcher who is laying it all on the line for what he has discovered. There are no throngs cheering him on. There are no scientists giving him awards. He is courageously getting the word out in the best way he knows how. He needs the support of others, for if his discoveries turn out to be true, we are headed toward astonishing times!!!! If his warnings are heeded, some might survive to live to see the dawning of a new phase of human existence. Why not do some preparation anyway? After all, another 911 or Katrina or Seattle power outage are realities we must now deal with and they are here now. If you read his book and decide to heed his message and it turns out to be true, you will thank him on behalf of your family and loved ones. If you disagree with him, you will have entertained some new ideas and been stimulated in thinking. Why not live and let live and allow others to express their ideas?

One more thing: there is a sinister possibility that we have been conditioned like in The Matrix to be critical and doubtful of certain messages even though these messages could liberate us. Could a fear-based reaction to this author's work be a result of our having been subliminally programmed to shutdown the very information that could free us? There are at least two precedents for this situation. One was that of a man who got the idea to build a boat in his backyard because he had a dream that the water level was going to rise. Another was a man who was warned that the city he lived in was going to be leveled. He pleaded to spare the city if he could find ten righteous people, but found none. Things were so perverted in the inner city that men came to his door to have sex with his daughters. When he came up out of the city, his wife could not separate herself from the allures of her home and despite being warned not to, she turned to look as the city was razed and she was turned into a pillar of sand by the ground zero blast. Her husband pleaded to not have to take refuge in the mountains because it was one of the things he was the most afraid of. You recognize the men to be Noah and Lot. They were dealing with the same dynamics we are dealing with now.

I have been researching anomalous phenomena since the 1970s. The axis of the Earth has tilted and the Earth is wobbling. The Magnetic North Pole has been moving around. Solar flares are increasing far beyond previous levels. The evidences appear to be favoring the possibility that Patrick could be correct.

Ok, tell us about the mathematical proves and what do they show.
What's the real meaning of 666? :strokebeard:
Interesting review I cam across Amazon.com regarding his "math":

Charlatan's Math. Stick to Archeology Mr. Geryl, October 15, 2006
By Steven Burns (-) - See all my reviews
The historical background of the book is very interesting but I consider the "math" inside an insult.
My advice to the author: stay away from math, seriously, your knowledge of arithmetic leaves much to be desired.
My advice to the potential buyer: read the following paragraph and decide if you still want to buy it

On pages 74/75 he takes three numbers 365.25, 365 and 360 and multiplies them twice by 0.666666666
Later on page 79 he starts again with the same three numbers but now he multiplies them once by 11520
Finally on the next page he divides the latter three results by the former ones and he finds himself SHOCKED to find they all yield the same result: 25920
NO KIDDING! ...Pitiful.

Take ANY number X and multiply it Twice by 0.66666666 you get (0.44444444)X
Take the same X number and multiply it by 11520 you get (11520)X
If you divide the latter by the former THE X's CANCEL EACH OTHER and you end up with (11520)/(0.44444444) which will ALWAYS yield 25920 regardless of the number you start with.

Yet the astonished words from the author are: "The identical result of these calculations is the precession number, which made me break out in cold sweat"

Mr Geryl please stick to Archeology and find the labyrinth.

Another interesting thing I've found there is that he also has a book named "How To Survive 2012"
This only makes one think that this needy author want to sell both his books... lame

How does one 'research' Atlantis when the only historical mention is a heresay page or so by Plato and ZERO archaeological findings?

Answer: You make shit up. Move to MRP where they will not look very deeply.
