I did not ask Coon to explaine himself.

I asked him if they are not psathyrellas then what are they.

And many Thai mycologists are very good in their mushroom identifications.

You just do not get to read their books or papers. I have many Thai field guides with common edible and poisonous shrooms and every shroom identified in them are correct.

have a shroomy day

If you do not have a good camera then place them on a scanner. Even I have used Kinkos a few times to scan mushrooms to post later because I forgot my camera. Scanners take good pictures. You do not have to puut a lot on there so they do not see what you are doing. But one or two specimens showing the top of the cap and the bottom gilled section and a few stems are all you need to do this.

Here is a scanned shroom image from the scanner at a Kinkos in Seattle

Scanned P. cyanescens

Scanned P. stuntzii

Lay the shrooms on the scanner screen, hold the scanner cover up about an inch to and inch and a half from the scanner and preview and then crop and scan.

you can see some of the scanner layers in the images.

I added the date at the time of the one scan.

lol... hey guys i saw on a post about a week ago that the bluing in a mushroom is oxidization, then i thought about it today and guess what, when something is burned it is the same thing. does this mean that if i had an active mushroom that if i burnt it it would bruise blue? sorry to interrupt Ur argument guys just wondering.
