OK, you want toknw what this guys got? listen up. and dont worry about throwing all of those away.

The first mushroom you found is in fact panaeolus subbalteatus.

Now, the big field, Those arent panaeolus at all. nor are they panaeolina foenisecci.

Those are all psathyrellas. Hence the very dark spore print.
you can tell by the whitish stems and recessive gills attached to the stem. Ive never seen subbs with such perfectly conical caps and no disfigurement about the caps. most subbs look funky like these:

Yup! This man knows what he's talking about.
So my ID was bullshit. I admit it!
It was, however just a guess

Good luck finding subbs

I dont see any subbs in your pics. The first one looks the closest but still does not seem right. Your spore prints do not look jet black to me at all. Subb prints will be jet black not a little black/ brown. They do not look like foes either. And by the way FahkFace Foes are not in the panaeolus family they do not have jet black spore prints.

Yea I was more hopeful for the first 3 mushrooms I picked. Thanks for the ID guys its much appreciated, do you reckon there will be more Subbs nearby on the same field? Because it also rained a lot last night. I was thinking about going and having another look today.

Well anyways thanks a lot everyone :D:D

Having another look at them it's hard to tell. In the group shots a lot definitely look like Coprinus, a few might be subbs, but those individual shots really look like subbs and definitely aren't Coprinus, that's for sure. Oh and the first four photos don't look like subbs OR Coprinus sp, something else.

Might be hard to tell them all apart when you're out collecting. Be sure to take lots of pics, keep your finds separate, print and photo all of them and get a subb expert to help out. Check if they're growing from buried wood. If so, Coprinus.

... and for the record Coprinus aren't poisonous unless you drink alcohol within a time period of eating them. But you don't want to eat them for shits 'n' giggles either.

Coprinus aka inky cap? If so, they should turn to mush before they dry right?

Wow that sounds really nice, I recently stumbled a HUGE fruiting of pan subbs, I collected 76 grams (wet), which would be around 7 grams dry (in total 213 mushrooms). I collected so many and there are still around 300 left to pick. I found them on a field close to wal-mart! Haha I can't wait to trip. I plan on taking 6 to 7 grams...I live in payson btw. I'm positive they are subbs, the blue bruising, black spore prints, rings on the cap and black spotted gills. Here are some pics.
