Weird trip

So my friend and i got about 7 hits of lsd. We each took one on separate nights to test it and we are going to dose more together on an undecided night. I did 1 tonight and it was weird...i felt high...not orgasmicly high but high , and unless i focused all i would get for visuals is breathing walls etc. you know the deal. I have had acid before and it was alot more visual then tonight...any ideas on whats up...?

it was probably just less potent than some dose that you have eaten in the past. eat 2 and see if the visuals step up.

im pretty sure acid is not supposed to be heaps visual. all trips a different tho. my friend ate some blotters, got loads of visuals, ate some more of the same sheet, got zilch visuals. set and setting will effect everything, even visuals.

LSD is lsd and if you cant tell what kind of dose your on beyond setting, then you are a total moron.

Thats just my opinion though.

LSd's effects can depend on the person at low doses.

What is a low dose trip for some is nothing for others.

If you have good L, then one hit should do the trick or even beyond that.

Its not like people dont go out of their way to take ten of a one hit wonder type hit.

Set and setting has little to do with the drugs visual effects in particulare.

No matter where you go or what you do, you will have lsd in your brain.

Yeah me and a buddy were talking...acid is acid...nothing else is small enough to be on blotter...
its either acid weak or acid strong.
2 tabs friday night. guess we will find out.

Some shit can fit on a blotter, but you probably have some weak hits. Thats all

Basically some almost average lsd tabs.

It really is just probably weak L per hit.

You cant imagine what 2 hits of the best gel tabs can do to a person.

(only freak out I have ever seen, and this is probably due to the fact that I usually trip alone).

There are hits that can throw you off very easily.

Its best to know your acid before getting all nutty about it.

There are hits of gel that *could* send some to the hospital just because they feared for their lives aftewr 2 hits.

You have some weaker shit, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Its probably lsd.

Actually in some rare cases DOx is being sold as acid.

Actually, I would disagree on this - as the amount of stimulation you are getting can have a very high impact on visuals. Mind you, 'sitting in a park', vs 'sitting on your couch' wont have much variance, other than you'll be seeing trees morph and not your TV.

However, I find that the more stimulation I am getting - the less intense the visuals are. Its like my brain is too caught up in trying to process all the other stimulation to really let the visuals take hold.

This is most apparent when I am DOING something. ie: Walking, running, jogging, dancing, or at a club/party or talking with other people.

ie: Last year at Mutek in Montreal, when I was in the 'dance area', I'd say that my visual activity was GREATLY diminished - I'd get some patterning in the distance, but the visuals would be on par with a low-dose LSD trip at best.

However, now and then I'd leave the dance area and go relax by a pond/waterfall, when I was just sitting and relaxing, and didnt have deafning music blasting into my ears and I wasnt dancing - the visuals would greatly increase.

Another example, was at another club to see Sleeparchive - during the party, I almost thought that the LSD was not doing that much - (I ended up tossing in some mushrooms to add some unf), I was on 2 hits, and I had done that LSD before so I had an idea of how strong it was. Once I left the club, its like the visuals hit me 10 fold for the next while. I can think of atleast 2 other examples of being in a club and hardly getting visuals, then stepping outside and having them hit me very intensley.

Or, the night where the fire alarm went off in my building - was tripping very hard, my fire alarm went off and I went into like, grade-4-fire drill mode, started to run around, turn off the lights, close the windows, etc -- it ended up being a false alarm, but for the next few minutes pretty much ALL visual activity had stopped, it wasnt until I calmed down / relaxed that they started to kick in again.

That being said - with the higher the dose you do, the less of an impact this as - on a high enough dose, no matter what your doing you'll be getting bombarded with visuals, but with 1-2 hits of avg potency blotter these days, I find that this is VERY noticeable.

there are a few things that can fit onto blotter these days, that blanket statement no longer holds true.

and be careful because to much 5meoAMT is never good....i heard you can tell though the difference between it and acid if you experienced. Damn all this acid talk makes me cry, 5 years 124 days since i last injested lsd(or could even find it for that matter).

I had some blotter which now in retrospect, I'm like 98% sure it was 5meoAMT. Of all the LSD I've done, its the one that stands out as 'not being quite right', long come up, dirty feeling, long duration (16+ hours). That being said, I had some great trips with it and wouldnt be opposed to doing it again. But, at the time I had it, I had only done LSD twice before from two different batches, and it 'fooled' me. I did think that there was something off about it, but wasnt sure what.

I agree that you should not be concerned with getting fucked up. LSD is more about peace and understanding. Just surround yourself with people that you like, nice setting and you will have a great even magical time. As for visuals, I like to be with nature when i am tripping. Defently dont like tripping in a dark setting. My Room is painted turquorise with Gypsy/Hippie drawings in the wall and phycedelic posters everywhere. Many of them quiet cool. Try looking at a poster meant to be seen with 3d glasses (that skunk 420 one off of Ebay is what i got). I could've sworn that when i was on acid that that poster was a hologram and had faces incorperated into it. When i sobered up, it looked like a plain poster to me. Now them some good visusals.

True, thats part of what I like about LSD - the weridness of it, which is why i tend to stay away from candyflips, as candyflipping sort of cuts through the weirdness. The times I've candyflipped, I've enjoyed it most once the MDMA has worn off and I get back into the land of the weird.

that being said, probably explains why I like K+LSD, as that seems to greatly up the weird factor :smile:

understandable. I do sometimes get disappointed when the acid is not what i expect. Nothing will ever be like the first couple of times i did it (unless that batch was way strong and i never realized it). But take more hits., enjoy your trips. Find out things about yourself that you never knew. Wounder in aww about the world around you. Oh yeah, and watch trippy movies. the Yellow submarine is a good one., Dark side of the Rainbow. Listen to Pink Flyod the wall. Invite lots of friends to come trip with you too.

My first few LSD trips were great, but my last few have been blowing them out of the water. Seems the more familiar I get with LSD, the more magic comes to the surface and the more intense things get.

The more I get familiar with it, the easier I find to just 'let go', and the easier time I have navigating the mindspace it puts me into, and in the end - having increasingly impressive, interesting and unique trips.

Even with as much as I've done LSD, I still get feelings of "OMG, I've never felt/experienced/saw/knew LSD could do this to me" experiences.

This could also be because I like to try different dosages/sets/settings/reasons for tripping, while I do have my sort of 'ideal trip', I often like trying to do new and interesting things while tripping, which opens up whole new realms of expierence.
