I've spent the hours mostly meditating, and the presence of the mushrooms, despite it being a mere 1-2mg psilocybin, was very clear every second of the way.

A half-hour phonecall with a psychedelic friend just now was at times highly euphoric and he said the trip vibes came right through the phone - a contact high that got him rolling a joint to keep up

I had expected this to be milder than it in fact was, because what it was (and is) is very worthwhile.

Right now I'm stabilizing myself out a bit to go groceries shopping. I expected to be a bit off but I'm downright elated

Amazing that a mere 1-2mg psilocybin can do this much.

A couple of days ago a mid-range dose of valium for recreational purpose, but other than that I've been completely sober for 10 days in a row.

Important to realize is that people never actually try tiny doses of psychedelics for the purpose of being slightly inebriated. People think sub-gram doses "won't work" or "are a waste of time" but have little experience to back it up.

If you haven't tripped for long enough I can almost guarantee you that a quarter of even 1/8 of your usual amount can be VERY rewarding, if you are deliberately taking a low dose to make the most of it.

A dose of mushrooms that is low enough will act as a magnifying glass. The novelty of a magnifying glass alone wears thin in 10 minutes or so, but if you actually USE the magnifying glass to do stuff, you can spend hours and learn/experience many things. Mushrooms aren't a novelty item - they are a tool for exploration, and exploration implies some form of activity.

What I did on this dose was:

take a shower
write posts and pondered shroomery issues
sat down and tripped
pistol shooting (plastic pellets not a firearm)
deep meditation in darkness
an in-depth phonecall
go to the grocery store whilst "out there"
Chillin' and posting.

in just about that order. There was insight, trippyness, enhanced emotion ranging from modest apprehensioon to extreme euphoria, and overall I had an interesting and good time. The mushroom held plenty of magic, I overshot the mark and misjudged how strong it would be actually!
An afternoon well-spent
