Other Good Beers With a high Alcohol %

besides Molson xxx. Im talking good beer here not shitty 40s or nothing.

But yea it takes me like 8-10 coors lights or buds to Get me feeling drunk. I kind of want to get something where a 6 pack will fuck me up so i feel like less of an alcoholic and its easier u know? plus save money.

So i am just wondering What are some other good beers with a high Alcohol % besides molson xxx. And they got to be available to Buy. like dont tell me something that i wont be able to find you know?

if you are in the midwest - many beers from Bell's Brewery are higher in alcoholic concentration (the double-cream stout is like 9 or 10%, but I think you can only get it at their bar...).

if you are in europe, Carlsberg's "Elephant Beer" is like 9%, and a big fan amongst all the alcoholic bums...

otherwise - look for local breweries - stouts, ales, porters - these all tend to have higher alcoholic concentration than lagers or pilsners....

anythign from Vancouver Island Brewery (hermans and victoria is my fav!!), anything from Granville Island Brewery, and anythign from teh whistler brew pub (unfortunatly they only sell n premise). but its pretty low %, 5-6 but is the best beer hands down.

Ur still here? I thought this place sucks. Coursindunk will kick your ass. Its nine%. So will siera nevada Big foot ale its a barly wine. That stuff is like a steak in a bottle. Ruff to drink but after you aquire a taste it gets a lil better.

Duvel its belgian and 9.5%, they got it at some liquor stores, but not small ones.

I'll name so many good high potentcy beers, they are about $7 a 6 pack you week mofos. ps if your canadian there is no hope cause your already gay... j/k :biggrin:
Abbey(belgium style ale), Winter Hook (red hook's winter beer), (Pyramid Snowcap ale), (Sierra Nevada Big Foot) Barley wine 9% at least, Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale!
THere are so many But i know molsen xxx is candian crap so this is all west coast U.S. beer/Ale Baby...
Ps. Canadians are ok but there beer sucks. Labatt is the worst.

Just buy some vodka, get yourself a tall glass, fill that bitch and drink it up.

I guarantee even the $5 bottles of vodka will get you past the point you want to be at.

I used to drink Molson XXX til i discovered the joys of Black bull [Email]beer@10%[/Email] :smile: Unfortunately they soon took it off the market for a while and reduced it's alcohol content to 8.9% :frown: It's no longer in a 40 ounce bottle, it's now 946 ml and at $5 CDN it's still well worth the effort to search it out. Other personal favorites include: Navigator beer @ 10%(imported from Holland) and Crest beer @ 10%(imported from Germany). Once you get over your initial inhibition not to mention shame sucking back 10% beer out of a can you'll find that at $9 for 3 500 ml cans you'll get trashed faster than you ever have on beer before :grin:
