issues with lipa yai... (pic)

b+ and eq on cakes are putting out 50-70 gram first flushes of decent sized fruits 4-8 inches tall. Lipa yai in the exact same enviroment same substrate and all are making a nice and big pin sets but half the mushrooms will abort and the ones that do mature will look retarded and never be more then 1-2 inches tall. Yeilds are never over 30 grams first flush. The print the lipa yai came from was pretty big.

Does lipa yai hate cakes or somthing? Never seen a strain just shit out like this.

This is from 2nd flush. They dont seam to be aborting as bad this time. THe pinset was a little uneven. But them things are not going to get much bigger (been like 4-5 days since pins formed) 4-5 days is usually how long it takes the EQ dudes to get meaty and huge.

IME the Lipa ya needed less humidity and more AIR then the B+ and the EQ. Hard to achieve that with CAKES. Easier to mature them with casings.

bah he should quit being lame and do casings.

He just had some bad expierences with casings going moldy every time and then tried cakes and have had great sucess every time.

Maybe he should try his hand at casings again no he has more expierence with what the mushrooms need and like.
