mycelium on shrooms

I humidify using perlite at the bottom of a rubbermaid container that is used for my terrarium. The problem is that my cakes are excessively fluffy and mycelium has started to grow on my shrooms. I am wondering if my humidity is to high or low and what is the best way to adjust it when using perlite.

Yea, I've seen the mycelium growing on the shroomie's before on a friends cakes, they had way to much humidity. It's all good though, they still give a nice trip

If it looks like this, just cut the humidity down. I feel the added psillyness can only be beneficial.

i have the same growth on a few of my caps... do i remove this before eating?
or do i just leave it on? thanks
