I cannot believe people are still discussing this. I am not the one spinning anything- I am just looking at what the man actually said rather than misassign the word "you" to anything other than what he clearly intended it to refer to- President Bush, the man he mentioned in the previous sentence. I am not the one bringing in things he said thirty years ago, just the one thing he said immediately prior to the statement. Nothing can be more relevant than that.

It's funny how everybody but you, including Kerry, agrees he mis-spoke (at best)

Look again. Several people in just this thread have agreed with me that Kerry said nothing wrong, it was taken wrong. Republicans are clearly desperate and are grasping for anything to save themselves. Frankly, it is a bit pathetic and I must confess I am greatly enjoying seeing them frantically scrambling around for something..anything to right their sinking ship.
