Fall music

Now that is October, I can really feel the fall more than the summer. Summertime music isn't really right for the mood fall puts me in. What music do you listen to in the fall?

Bjork is fall music for me (except for Vespertine, which is a winter album).

Also Talking Heads' More Songs About Buildings and Food.

And, The Glands' self-titled album.

Plus, Turn on the Bright Lights by Interpol.

And In a Safe Place by The Album Leaf.

And the Arcade Fire's album Funeral, and don't forget Danse Macabre by the Faint.

For somw reason, I listen to a lot of Type O Negative in the fall time. I never listen to them any other time of the year except for October/November.

I have to say if any type of music"feels" fall its ambient,But for me its metal and punk all year,with a good dose of all types of techno mixed in.

Fall time music for me is:

Neil Young
Pink Floyd (from the beginning to Wish You Were Here)
Yonder Mountain String Band
and alot of Jerry's stuff such as The Pizza Tapes, Old and In the Way, and his collaborations with Dave Grisman.

For whatever reason, I think the fall is a great time for getting people together to play music as well.
