Question about the jars.

Hi im new here, i haven't actually grown any shrooms yet, but im eager to learn.
Sure hunting them down is fun but what about the rest of the year when there arent any around? well well, my question is this, -I dont have the money for the idel jars you can find throughout the web, can i use plain drinkingglasses? If so what should i use to seal the top with while pressurecooking it? Im sorry if i havent read the FAQ but it does not run when i try.
Maybe someone of you all out there can give me some tips if drinkingglasses does not work!?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
