What to do with 1st agar plate

What do you guys do with your first agar plates after it's been transfered to new plates?

Fridge them and save or discard?

The second sets of plates have much healthier myc, the originals are all fluffy.

after the transfers have started growing pretty good...

I discard it.

but I make sure that the transfers take!~

OK good - I was holding on to them until the others took - they have, with thicker roping.  It will need another transfer or 2 though.

It is kind of sad, throwing away some really pretty white myc though  :frown:

I send lots of mycelium into the trash.

It's just the way it is sometimes.
