storing peroxide agar plates for later use
    #3603918 - 01/09/05 04:41 PM (13 years, 4 months ago)

i keep wondering about the possibility of storing peroxide agar plates.

i just prepared a couple and will vakuum seal two of them,
then place them into a fridge for some time and then use them.

if this turns out to be possible,
that would be a REAL great thing, since one could seal individual bags,
say pairs of two and always got some handy whenever needed.

are there any experiences on this?
ill sure re-vive this thread in a month or so.

I wouldn't vaccuum seal unless you are able to open in clean air. IME plates will last quite awhile in ziplocks in the fridge (months).
