How many mycelium syringes from one agar plate?

My friend has a couple of nice, ropey mycelium filled petris.

How many CC's of mycelial suspension could he safely make with said petris?

I do 60 cc. and inoc.18 1 gallon jars per plate

I use agar plates one technique I use to is get a bottle, stick broken glass in it. Put anything from 50 ml up of water in it and steralize it. Let it cool stick a chunk of agar in the bottle and shake it till it's fairly liquifyed then you can suck that up in a syringe and make as many bottles of honey water as you want. From a peice of mycelium about 3 cm or so sqaure you can innoculate a LOT of bottles of honey water. I could make far more bottles of honey water then is acutally practical. And you can use more water to innoculate you jars which means faster colonization. Contams of course are a problem but they are not insurmountable. When this technique works it just rocks.
