That's just it. Nobody can handle it that much.

Yeah, what happened to the good old days when we taught kids to be tough?

My Dad never fucked around with any of that wussy crap. One year for christmas he gave me and my brother each a pair of boxing gloves and let us beat the shit outta each other on a regular basis. Another year he gave us each a rubber-band rifle (shoots rubber bands), a box of rubber bands (ammo for the guns) and a pair of ski goggles. Then he told us we were only allowed to wear the ski goggles and a pair of shorts when we had rubber band wars!

He was kinda sadistic, but it was a lot of fun and I learned to be a tougher kid because of it.

I think you should starve your children and electro shock them with a tazer and 5 gallon bucket of water. Tell them they are worthless and burn them with various hot items when they talk back.

Once they reach 5 years of age you can back off on this a little and enlist them into a full contact sport. I suggest boxing. Make sure their life revolves around this sport and nothing else. If their mind ever wonders from this sport you beat them till they can't play it for a week to make sure they have to work extra hard to get into the program.

Once they reach the age of 15 you can tell them I did this so you would never be a pussy dear daughter. Then give them a beer and allow her to have sex with the boy of her picking.

This method has worked countless times for me.

For the record, I would show you my butthole but you would fall down and worship it as a God and you would give up everything to roam the land converting the heathens by fire and sword. Millions would die. No, no the cost is too great. I cannot.

Once they get tasered by a cop a few times for acting up in school, they'll toughen up.

So what happens when the kids get out of school and find out the real world isn't required to like you? Or the first time they get a job and get fired the same day because they dont know they have to produce?

My children will have to pass hostile initiations in order to "Graduate" to the next year of age. 3? Fight their way out of a burlap bag filled with starving stray cats. 5? Cage fight with a rabid dog. So on and so on. Any child of mine that makes it to 10 years age will be able to take street thugs down, and crush bullets with their teeth.

Yarrr.

Then one day.
They'll brutally murder me in my sleep.

Wow, this is sad. But I do remember the trophy thing when I was a kid, in soccer. We only won like three games then it turned out we got a trophy anyways. I still have em, lol. I was like, oh, cool, shiney trophy.

If people would stop trying to control nature than we would live in a better society. Enforcing artificial rules has never made anything better. People have the ability to think for themselves but for some reason it seems as if a small group of people won't allow this.

Seriously, no one is special or gifted at that age. You have to earn it, and you can't do that with parents blowing sunshine up your ass.

I dunno, around 3rd grade I started to realize I was a bit "smarter" than my peers. I don't know if you want to call that gifted or special or what but it wasn't because I was busting my ass, I was just naturally bright.
