I noticed theres been a lot of talk lately about high magickal arts on the board.
One of the most important rituals in magick is LBRP.
Id be happy to share some of my skills, tweaks and notes on how i perform this ritual based on years of experience, but i dont even know if anyone actually does this ritual besides me?

By the way i dont even know if theres a place on the net where you can get this ritual, there probably is a copy somewhere by now.
There is a excellent guide on how to do it in a excellent book called Modern Magick

i never saw the difference between the ritualistic hand motions, body positioning, candle-lighting, reciting and symbol-drawing.... and someone bowling and then gradually leaning to the right in hopes that it will draw the ball away from the gutter.

The Middle Pillar by Israel Regardie elaborates at length on the LBRP from page 176 to page 207, if that is your predilection at the moment.

It is a standard ritual for practitioners of Ceremonial Magick that was written about by Aleister Crowley in his Magick: In Theory and Practice, and continued by Israel Regardie (Crowley's one-time secretary). It also figured in the magickal organization 'The Order of the Golden Dawn.' It is a part of other pentagrammatic visualizations which serve to banish malevolent influences before evoking pure ones. Eventually, the bodily positions, vocalizations and visualizations of magical practices can be internalized and at the same time simplified. That is the beginning of the transformation of magick into mysticism, power-motives into service-motives, egocentrism into God-centeredness.

There IS healing, but there is little transcendence. Magick is not witchcraft, thought there is magick IN witchcraft. Witchcraft acknowleges the processes of nature including the cosmic - it does not seek to transcend it however,
perhaps you can see why with witches like Fiona Horne, one would want to remain in the miasma.

what is the lesser banishment ritual?
I dont think it was made by Crowley, no, Crowley might have put it in a fancy writing and system of doing but pentagram banishment and kabalistic cross (parts of the ritual) are centuries old.
LBPR does much more then simply clears your astral plane of unwanted energies. It also sends energies thro your body which change and empower your whole psyche. It is said the real benefits come from long time use as power of the ritual increases the more you practise and get better at it.

There is soooooooooooooo much more to LBPR than simply Vibrating correct God names and Hebrew prayers.
That is why i asked if anyone can do this so we could share our experiences and skills.

I'm read in Crowley (certainly not a fan of his animal murdering, bigotry, and misogyny), and 'Aiwass' was the name of his Holy Guardian Angel, or the name that he claimed was revealed to him. It is therefore his unique revelation, not one that others would (or should) include in a ritual. Personally, my work is not focused on the Astral Triangle (Hod, Yesod, Netzach) so I do not practice these kinds of rituals anymore, but if I did, I would be seeking the name of my HGA.

Yeah, this version of Lesser Banishing is Crowleyian and not the normal one. As Mark suggests I would not do it unless one is OTO or something like that.
I did it for a year or so and found it quite okay as a means for balancing my elements. The only issue for me was that my mind was - sticky - and the results of this practice stayed with me too much when I tried to do other things.
I used to do the whole Watchtower though most often. I believe that Crowley himself said that one would feel a sense of cleanliness and sanctity if the ritual was done correctly, and that's what I felt.
Since then I have moreso studied Buddhist tantra. But looking back I can see come common elements, though what the Watchtower lacks I believe is what we in tantra would call disolving of the visualization into the emptiness and clarity of innate awareness. This last step would have gotten rid of some of the - stickiness - for my mind.
...since these symbolic gestures are not reality...but pointing to reality....
-------------------- ...or something
