i think i found some amanitas, im pretty sure theyre hallucinogenic ones. i found them at the base of some trees, i believe they were oak trees and it was in a large cluster of trees. it was a very humid andmoist area, dew still on the grass. here is a picture i scanned i cant find my god damn camera!!! http://www.deviantart.com/view/36371992/ sorry i linked to it and it says ssomething about hotliniking so i think u have to click it and see the image

They're Amanitas, but they aren't A. muscaria.
Without a microscope those'll probably be impossible to ID accurately to species. There are a bunch of currently undescribed species that resemble those. As such, they should not be eaten.
Amanita is one of the very worst genera for experimentation.

I see... i never really saw an amanita that parts at the ends of the cap but i cant really call myself experienced heheh edit: but that one larger one up in the corner that has a more rusty color really looks like var formosa to me

None of those look like var. formosa. Check out some pictures of amanita muscaria, and take a good look at the base. They have remnants of the universal veil that form these concentric rings that your mushrooms don't have. Also the color of your mushrooms is not right. You could very well have a poisonous or deadly amanita, but you do not have an active amanita.

No it does not. Those are not Amanita muscaria. They look nothing like A. muscaria.
