I have recently been having these few seeing problems. First, I have been seein faint lights around brighter lights, and I have also noticed it around icons on my computer. I have also noticed rings around some lights when its dark out. I have been getting really dry eyes lately, so I don't know if that's the reason. Diagnosis, anyone?

glaucoma - caused by increased pressure in the eye - go get it checked as it can lead to blindness.

Eating carrots can help your eyesight because of the beta-carotene.
It also helps if you are relaxed. Your eyes are a muscle and they will get tired out if you use them too much. You will notice that, when you run, your eyesight improves dramatically. I think that's because they are in a state of being relaxed, while at the same time being vamped up by all the energy passing through your body. Just keep that concept in mind. Your eyes are not always going to work perfectly. As you grow older, they start to go downhill.

i actually started to get the same eye problems a few years ago...then when i got checked up by the optometrist it turned out that they found that the shape of my left cornea had a bit of a buldge...normally it's round but it's now the somewhat the shape of a cone. this condition is called kerataconus, doesn't affect many people but one way it happens to people is by rubbing your eyes too much (i.e. i have hay fever so that could be the reason - my eyes get very itchy)
i highly suggest if these symptoms continue to go see an optometrist just to make sure. there are ways to treat kerataconus such as wearing a fitted hard contact lens on the eye which is effected that way it sort of pushes it to a correct shape.
