yeah its nassssty too. lots of old vegetable oil. you see i run my diesel box truck on straight vegitable oil, and i get it for free !
so for all of you still paying for gas and or diesel i recomend you go to these websites www.greasecar.com www.frybrid.com and also look into the wonderful concept of bio-diesel
this has been a community action message from your friend, zippoz

the emissions are better than actual diesel.
it does not add any carbon to the atmosphere and does not add to global warming beacuse of a closed carbon cycle. were burning plants here, not million year old carbon stored in fossil fuels.
it smells like a bar-b-que! i was at my pops house the other day and my step mom said, it smells like some one is barbequeing! i told her it was my car!!!!!
and yes rudolph diesel premiered his diesel engine at the worlds fair in 1912 where it ran on peanut oil

Biodiesel emissions are substantially lower than petroleum. It doesn't have the sulfur and crap that petroleum has in it, so none of the usual sulfur oxides and such are emitted.
Plus the CO2 and carbon emitted from biodiesel comes from CO2 taken from the air by the plants the oil was derived from, unlike petroleum which releases CO2 that was trapped in the ground and not part of the atmosphere.

I would go for it if I had any confidence that someone in my area could install it and I could rely on them. You have the blessing of being able to work on cars well enough to install and maintain your setup.
