Hydrogen Peroxide, will it kill mycelia?

Hey Y'all,
I cut out a mold-infected piece of substrate from the only jar I had with yuckiness in it. I did this the same way I inoculated the jars, in my poor man's laminar flow hood (my oven w/rack pulled out @ 170 degrees). I sterilized the "digging spoon", I wore a mask and was myself very clean. I then poured a small amount of hydrogen peroxide (around 4-5 cc's) in the jar and swished it around the site I removed the substrate from. My question is: will the H2O2 kill mycelia? Does H2O2 kill contaminants effectively?
here is the contaminant before it was removed:
just so you guys can see what I'm dealing with. Hope I didn't just kill mycelia!
Thank you all for reading and posting, I've learned a lot, and so much more to learn!

No, H202 will not kill the mycelia. It may damage it a little but it'll recover.
It depends on the bacteria or mold -- it may or may not kill it.

diluted right it should not kill mycelia but may kill the unwanted nasties' spores before they have a chance to take hold.

Hi all,
well, the peroxide did not kill the mycelia, but it didn't kill the mold, either. I am back at square one! I want to try to save the mycelia that are still good--today they are showing strong rhizomorphic growth and is on the other side of the cake (so about 2 inches of uncolonized substrate separates them). The mycelia have grown considerably since yesterday, also. I think that if I can get them out of the jar that they would fare better. I have a few jars that are not colonizing, so I think it makes sense to get the healthy mycelia out, clean the uncolonized jars, and try to inoculate those jars with live culture. At the very least it will be an experiment, I don't really have anything to lose. Any suggestions on accomplishing this?

Dump the contaminated jar(s) and refine your sterile technique.

i agree with anno (of course). if your cake is contaminated with a nasty that is unaffected by the hydrogen peroxide i would not venture further down that road. chuck it and start over. better to be safe than sorry.
