I just think that a thought is a concept that is created in your mind with awareness. So I dont think it's very likely that most people don't have at least a few original thoughts throughout let's say a day.

For example. "All I need to do is stop caring, that's all". This thought is going to be original everytime someone thinks it, or most of the time, because though it shares the same structure, one can say it feeling and thinking small nuances differently from anyone else, and thus it will really be quite original, seeing as how it has never been thought of precisely as did this person. This is originality. Just because something is similar to something else doesn't mean it's not original.
