The Function of Humans
    #4993180 -

If you do not understand the function, study the structure.
-Francis Crick

So it appears that we cannot disassociate function from structure. This is valid in all levels of organisation, whether we're talking about molecules in membranes, compartments in cells, cells in tissues, tissues in organs, organs in organisms, and organisms in habitats.

Does this suggest that once humams have totally figured out the way that their bodies are structured, that they will at the same time figure out what their function in this universe is?

Interesting question!

I was thinking this the other night, try it out. Take any situation someone is in and start asking "why" questions about why it is. To every answer they give ask why that is. Sooner or later, they will answer "I don't know" or "because thats how it is". If that is the best we can every get to then why not just start out with the best and forget the rest! We don't know because thats how it is.

I gave an example at the end of this post. At least jump to it if the rest is to long to read. It brings much peace.

So many questions for the designer I have I could be asking them into infinity. I could be the living answer right under my own nose as well.

I think a biggie regarding our structure is finding the interface between spirit/consciousness and matter and getting a model for how it works. When we figure out how it works, we can get to asking the why questions for why it does. And as I have come to see, those why questions always lead to, "I don't know because thats how it is."

I think science is vastly behind where it could be in this area because of its linear approach to it. The designer is not so simple to just be a linear thinker or planner. Then again, the design of the linear structure has a function to be understood as well.

I brought that up because there is so much unseen to the structure that makes us function. Some seers say we have up to 12 subtle bodies that house and feed vital life force energy to the physical one. Some say they represent the dimensions. Others have told of tens of thousands.

What tool will have to be invented to decode and read the blueprint in our DNA? What would that tell us?

You could be asking these questions forever. They become exhausting. Find the seat in your heart and get comfy and rest there I say. As far as I am concerned, the heart center is where the navigational system is for our function with built in-like GPS complete with maps and charts and (destinations) destinies. Follow it and be the function and you will enter a new phase of experiencing fun-in-action =function. It's working for me.

I've almost given up thinking my way around for totally feeling my way around and life gets more amazing when I live it that way.

The best is, how conflict disappears. If I direct my mind to follow my heart and trust my heart knows, the two are going the same way and it feels surreal. The heart chooses to be in resonance with love, understanding and non judgment of every moment.

It's the mental function that judges and gets into conflict with itself and the world. It can be so suspicious and preoccupied with plotting, calculating, strategising and planning and trying to make the world match up to its expectations that it NEVER stops to live in the moment as it is and discover it to be none of what it thought it was is the first place. The moments are full of so much we miss when in our mental minds.

The brain has two hemispheres, two minds of thought always pulling at each other-conflict. The heart consciousness is one mind and it dwells in so much peace and joy, the rest fades away.

The heart consciousness takes you to incredible heavenly places. The mental one takes you into hellish places fast.

The heart mind has such an intimate connection and understanding of everything and is very childlike in its sense of experiencing every moment as something new yet it's also very old and wise like in its reverent quiet knowing that allows what is to be as it is....moving through us while we are still. Reverse it. Most think life is still and we move through it. Be still in mind and feel it move through you without judgments.

People can just say "Ahhhhh, So this is what rain feels like on my face" and leave it at that. The experience needs to label put upon it. It can just be allowed to be.

We are the function itself. We give action to e-motion, energy in motion. Our feelings are the movements of sound through space time. Observing the flow through you, things of tight binds unravel and reveal themselves to us. Be careful of the mind facet that wants to stop the movement and take control over it.

Think of movements and timing in terms of music. First there was sound, then there was light. Feeling then thought. This is the cycle. To go back to the place and time when there was just sound and feeling your way through the dark by keeping rhythm with the music is a WOW experience.

When thoughts knowing illuminates situations it can really mess them up from what they actually are and lead you astray in acting upon it with grace and ease. When loves wisdom illuminates a situation it sees what is as it is and moves with the timing that allows for grace and ease.

If I sound high it's because I am high on life. So much peace I feel. The mind needs to know wants to know and toils and tires and struggles with itself. The heart, is inherent of wisdom and is at rest always. And when eternally rested we feel satisfied and joy springs forth.

Thanks for the inspiration exclusive! I go through my days saying "wow" a lot lately and not much more. Quit labeling people , words and experiences and feel the difference. If some guy calls you a jerk later on today, instead of wondering "why" just get to the best answer which is, "He doesn't know why and I don't know why because thats how it is." It's wonderful.

Check this hypothetical;

You-Why did you call me a jerk?

Guy- Because I saw you throw your cup out of your car window.

You- Why does that make me a jerk?

Guy- Because your littering and trashing the planet?

You-Why can't we litter on the planet?

Guy- because someone has to clean it up and the planet takes care of us.

You-Why does someone have to clean it up and why does the planet have to take care of us?

Guy- So we can live a nice life.

You- Why do we need to live a nice life?

Guy- Because it's nice to live.

You-Why is it nice to live?

Guy- I don't know. It just is.

I REST MY CASE! The guy has no idea why he called you a jerk. He just did. So why bother being effected by it or wondering why he did. When you ask WHY?, it all comes down to, I don't know, its just how it is.

:peace:

oh so it does matter...but you don't' know why?
can it really not matter?

keeping something from affecting you a certain way doesn't make it not matter.

it doesn't matter how you are affected.

*Y* = a) your b) yourself

If it matters to me or not, thats what just is. If it matters to you or not, that's just what is.

Maybe this view will create a clicky. When something matters to you, there is no reason why it does, it just does....roll with it or let it roll through you, same with the things that seem to matter to others around us.

If something doesn't matter you you, there is no reason why it doesn't, it just doesn't. Roll with it or let it roll through you.

Somehow, we came to think there is reason for everything....ha! Keep asking the reason why and you will sooner or latter get, "I don't know why because that's how it just is."

In short, we are making all of these reasons up. Why does someone love you for your sense of humor and another hate you for it?  Because they just do.

I suppose this is another take on experiencing acceptance of and surrender to, what is and letting go of the need for reason. Where there is a heart connection, there is understanding and where there is understanding, there is no need to ask why or for the reason. It's knowing without knowing and oh so cool, amazing and wordless.

Obviously, this subject matter, matters to me because I am typing about it and I have no reason for why it does or why I am yet it's happening and I and anyone who reads it is experiencing IT, the IT of what just is.

hahhahaha try it out on yourself and others. I just thought to myself "I have to wrap this up and finish decorating for Christmas." Then I asked myself why I am doing that. My answer was, "because my daughter likes it". Why does she like it I thought next? I don't know why so I went to ask her.

She said," I don't know. It's just pretty."

I asked her, "Why is it pretty?"

She said, "I don't know. It just is."

That was FAST getting to the bottom line!

Earlier I was thinking about this, our being the function of what is in motion, experiencing the "what just is" and I considered that if you start asking "whys", the more reasons of answer people have before they get to, "I don't know, it just is", the more they must have them selves caught up into complicated ties of reasoning.

What is it that makes a need for ties of reasoning in the first place and whats the difference between simple ones that unravel easily and others that are very complicated and difficult to undo? There's no reason for complicated ties of reasoning. Just let what is be and you'll keep it all loose, free and easy. It's amazing how much can matter to us without there being a reason for why it does. We don't need a reason for why to experience what just is or to have it matter to us.

fa la la la la ....la la...la.....la :santaclaus:

Very inspiring jiggy!
This is kind of like saying to quit intellectualizing life and experiences, and actually LIVE!

So what do you say jiggy, can you understand life and live it at the same time?

Well, when you shift into heart centered processing and thinking, the mental mind calms and quiets and stays that way. It's lovely to be in the sweet serenity of the mind while the heart center does all the work for you. It processes understanding so much faster with less energy output. The heart center understands all with unconditional love where as the mental mind works to understand through logic and reasoning. Logic is linear and reasoning is false as was demonstrated so it puts you in illusion of what is and not what actually is.

When understanding through the heart center, you don't feel drained like you do when you think to much AND when everything is run through the filter of universal love, it all brightens. You're moved about by an innate wisdom instead of your analytical thinking, plotting, calculating and strategizing-the stuff that usually weaves us into sticky complicated messes.

There is an ease and grace that comes through the heart center that simplifies everything into the movements of the song.

Easy for me to say now, you know how much I tend to intellectualize things. I was on Provo in the Turks and Caicos over the holidays, away from computers and the daily grind. The days were about snorkeling, massages, sailing, tennis, Jacuzzis, building sand castles, people cooking and cleaning for me and driving me around. I didn't have to think-I got to LIVE and FEEL more and let life entertain me. Big beautiful smiles backed with the joy of being alive were all around me.  (Santo Domingans rock)

Whatever transition happened there was beautiful and its staying with me. I did my best to put it into words, yet, what is just understood through experience never has any words does it.

All I can say is, the heart place is where it's at. Let IT bare the burdens of the mental mind. It does it so well and so easily.

:peace:

I can't even figure out the function of something as simple as snow, let alone the function of humans. Perhaps there is a function, but our monkey brains aren't clever enough to figure it out. Like you said, when you keep on asking for a reason, sooner or later things get so complex that you are left with "just because".

Version.X

Now we all are different people we function completely differently, we do things at different times, we speak in different languages, we speak in different dialects.

What version are you?
