Listen, I don't mean to get on your ass.

But, EVERY group (whether it be religious or ideological) has people on the fringe who are willing to engage in violence in order to further their beliefs. Muslims do it, Rightists do it, Leftists do it, and the anarchists are no different.

Anarchists don't believe in taking away anyone elses freedom or imposing their beliefs or harm onto anyone. It's the nature of anarchism. By murdering someone, they're going against what anarchism stands for and aren't anarchists. It really is very simple.

i dont know what hes read but ive read a ton. and yes, there have "anarchist" terrorists just like all people have had terrorists in their past and present. I thought he was talking about islamic terrorists not being anarchist(bin laden is a multi-millionaire capitalist) but then he said anarchists were not terrorists and do not kill. i guess it does kind of go against some anarchist writing, making them un-anarchist or something.

That sounds exactly like how a libertarian would define their beliefs, but since you're so anti-capitalist, I doubt you'd agree with their ideology, and certainly wouldn't call it anarchist. Can you provide a definition(not a description) of anarchism which would distinguish it from libertarianism or any other ideology?

I know of some "anarchists" that believe a violent revolution is the way forward but they aren't true anarchists, they're misinformed and give the rest of us a bad name.

If that is true then there would be many varied opinions on what "anarchism" is, what it's focus should be, and what should be done to achieve it.  With something so subjective how can you claim absolutes like "true anarchists do this and that"?

But some anarchist writing goes against some anarchist writing. The writings of an anarcho-communist like Mikhail Bakunin and Peter Kropotkin(both of whom advocated violent revolution, if I'm not mistaken) would certain contradict the writings of an individualist anarchists like Benjamin Tucker or Lysander Spooner.

I'm a conservative. True conservatives love trade protectionism, gov't welfare programs, and the Supreme Court legislating for the state. Don't question what I say, b/c I'm the only one who's allowed to define what a real conservative is.
